Diet and Exercise During the Holidays

by Zack Evar |

Holidays have the tendency to completely spoil a diet plan. Which means diet and exercise during the holidays should become a priority.  When it comes to temptations, you forget about all plans and the exercises you were practicing throughout the whole week. Do plan your diet consumption for your holidays; believe you me, it’s easier to increase a substantial amount of weight, even seven to 10 pounds. A unique method is to screen your consumption over time. Keep track of your daily habits and set weekly goals regarding food intake and exercise. Gaining weight isn't the only thing you should maintain. Your facial hygiene is equally as important to keeping a great holiday look. For the ultimate shave, make sure you check out our shaving cream (which includes charcoal for men's skin) and shaving brush for optimal beard care. Be sure to check out some of our other premium grooming products.

When you are trying to maintain your long beard or mustache style, make sure you use a cedarwood beard conditioner.

We live in an unparallel world where gaining weight at any time of the year is a hell lot easier than losing even a single pound in the same period. The trick is to stick to your diet plan and not to spoil your effort; try to control yourself even in front of tempting and delicious foods.

When you've brainstormed your objectives, write them down and retain a diary of what you eat. Basically, the important thing is to keep track of your weight. (Food diaries are useful, but only if you’re completely honest and diligent about recording every piece you eat.) Not just related to weight loss, but whatever you do, naturally you tend to get better results if you keep note of your progress. Being lethargic in your efforts and taking everything for granted tends to have an adverse effect on your health and it hinders your efforts is losing weight effectively.

Whatever technique you pick, the best way to go is to work hard and be honest with yourself. If your aim is to work out three times a week, make sure that you achieve your goal no matter what. It might seem hard at the start but it’s never impossible. If someone else can do it, so can you.

The 3-step plan outlined here to stick to your diet plan is:

  • Decrease your hunger significantly.
  • Make yourself lose weight fast, without starving yourself.
  • Advance your metabolic health at the same time.

Don’t be scared to load your bowl with low-carb vegetables. You can eat enormous amounts of them; don’t shy away from going over 20-50 net carbs per day even.

A diet founded on meat and vegetables covers all the fiber, vitamins and minerals you want to stay healthy. There is no physical need for grains in the diet.

If you are trying to stick to a diet plan and hunger is annoying you, go and get a glass of water. This will help you avoid extreme craving for your food.

You can avoid taking too much diet by adding an appetizer to your diet plan. This will make your tummy feel half-filled and you will not consume too much calories that could sabotage your efforts of a diet plan.

Stop taking beverages like iced tea and juices, they will act like bombers to your calorie graph. Cut down soda drinks from your life. You will see an immediate drop of calories on your daily scale.

You need to be strict following your diet plans even on holidays. To have a balanced and a perfect weight, be honest with yourself and keep control over your temptations.
