The Pure Edge™ commitment drives the creativity in our product formulations. In an industry flooded with harsh/hazardous ingredients, keeping them off of our ingredient decks can pose a challenge and force innovation in the market. We pledge to never use any ingredients that are known to cause harm or irritation on even the most sensitive skin.

Ingredients are carefully selected to meet a rigorous standard set by Environmental Working Group's Skin Deep® Project which assigns a rank to each ingredient commonly used in the personal care & beauty industry. Rankings are on a 1 - 10 scale where 1 is a non-hazardous ingredient and 10 is an ingredient that may cause injury or irritation to skin. The Pure Edge™ commitment limits our chemists to only consider using ingredients that are categorized as safe for use.

At Beau Brummell, we pledge to never incorporate into our products the ingredients in the following categories:

• Parabens
• Sulfates/SLS
  
• Synthetic/Artificial Fragrances
• Phthalates
• PEGs
• Artificial Dyes/Colorants
• Animal Derived Ingredients
• Mineral Oil
• Polyethylene Microbeads
