A stressful week at work, a disagreement with a loved one, or just an overall bad day, sometimes life just leaves us in a terrible mood. Sometimes there is no tangible reason for why you’re feeling down in the dumps, and it happens to the best of us. There are a few quick and really easy things that you could do to help your boost your mood on days when you aren’t feeling your best. Here are some instant mood-boosting tips!

Look Great. Feel Great

This cliché statement actually has some truth behind it. Investing some time and effort in the way you look can make you feel more confident. It may even give you the self-esteem you need to tackle whatever lies ahead. Laugh Out Loud

It could be watching some funny baby animals on Youtube. Possibly from grabbing a cup of coffee with a friend that always makes you laugh. Laughter is the best medicine for any bad mood. Similar to exercise, laughing out loud and frequently also releases endorphins and will perk up your day almost right away.

Don’t forget to breathe

 I know that when I am running around from work to dinner to home. I'm constantly texting or emailing just to catch up, I often forget to just stop and breathe. It sounds so simple. But we all don’t realize how important it is to just stop for a few seconds and take a deep breath. Do it a few times a day, and you’ll realize how something so simple can easily brighten up your day.
