Face and Hair Fixes With Things You Already Have in Your Kitchen

What if I told you, you could supplement any grooming regiment with things that are right in our own kitchen? Some of the food that you eat every day can help keep your hair and face healthy. Here are some face and hair fixes with things you already have in your kitchen.

Avocados are great for your skin. Whether you use the fruit for a mask or use its seeds or oil, it can help anything from dry skin to damaged hair and hangnails. When you eat half an avocado a day, you are protecting your skin. Not only does it protect your skin, but it is also a great moisturizer. Many people make homemade masks with avocado, and it leaves your skin feeling refreshed and clean. Avocado contains Vitamin E, healthy fat, and protein that can protect your skin from damage and can keep your hair healthy.

When it comes to finding hair and face fixes from your kitchen, you can’t overlook olive oil. It can make your hair soft, shiny and healthy. Just simply massage your scalp with olive oil for just a few minutes. Then, you should put a shower cap on your hair and let it soak for 30 to 45 minutes. Then you should wash your hair normally. Make sure you do this regimen twice a week. Olive oil can also help protect your skin from aging from prolonged exposure from the sun. Just massage your body with warm olive oil, then take a shower after you wait 30 minutes.  Then pat your skin dry for the best results.

Green tea has many benefits. Not only is it good to drink green tea but it is also good for your face and hair. Green tea can protect the skin from having UV damage and can reduce the signs of aging such as wrinkles and saggy skin.  It can also help you with hair loss. You should brew 3 to 4 cups of tea and allow the tea to cool. Then pour the tea on damp hair and let it sit for 10 minutes.  Wash your hair with a mild shampoo, and you are good to go.  Apply green tea with some honey and lemon juice, and use it as a mask for your face. Leave the green tea mask on for 10 minutes and then rinse the mixture off for flawless skin.
